I’m Ksenia Tarasova, the heart behind Seagirl – Russia’s first women-only sailing club. Since 2018, I’ve logged 6 500 + nautical miles across Turkey, Croatia, Italy, Norway, the Seychelles and more, guiding hundreds of “mermaids” through carefree weeks at sea. My goal is simple: give every woman a safe, body-positive space to learn sailing, laugh loudly, sunbathe freely (yes, even naked if you wish!) and feel utterly free on board. Come sail like a girl – I’ll keep you safe, teach you the ropes and make sure you leave brimming with sea-salt confidence.

Safety is the protocol
Your safety is the keel of every Seagirl voyage. Before we cast off I lead a full deck-side briefing—life-jacket rules, man-over-board drill, fire protocols, VHF etiquette, first-aid locations—so everyone knows exactly what to do in any scenario. I sail only boats I’ve personally inspected, limit crews to nine mermaids for tight oversight, and plot weather-smart routes with daily checks to dodge incoming fronts. A licensed Bareboat Skipper with current VHF and first-aid tickets, I maintain 24-hour radio watch, carry redundant nav and medical kits, and file each passage plan with shore contacts. In seven countries, 6,500 + nm and twenty skipper-led passages, Seagirl has kept a perfect incident-free record—because adventure feels better when everyone comes home smiling.
