Turquoise Coast Yacht Adventure

Adventure overview
Spend eight sun-drenched days sailing Turkey’s Turquoise Coast in a 25-woman flotilla of three sister yachts. We start and finish in Göcek, weaving through emerald bays and ochre hills to Sarsala’s hidden cove, lively Fethiye, the quiet ruins of Tersane, cosy Ekincik Marina and the storied island of Gemiler. Most passages are short enough for lazy breakfasts and long swims, yet long enough to feel the thrill of open sails and shared helm time. Ashore, we’ll wander Kaş’s pastel lanes, sip çay in harbour cafés and slip off at dusk to meditate at a local “power spot.” Evenings mean rooftop parties, star-lit sing-alongs and a magical night-swim in glowing plankton. All boat costs are covered in the trip fee; you just bring your flights and a food kitty for groceries and seaside dinners. Sail, laugh and celebrate—because when 25 mermaids meet under one canvas of sky, it’s a floating festival you’ll never forget.

/ ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation
We sail on a modern cruising yacht. The boat has snug double cabins with bedding already prepared, a compact marine double bedroom with individual linens and pillows, a combined toilet and a hot-water shower, and a tidy galley—stove, fridge, and sink—so we can cook onboard whenever we want. The saloon opens into a shaded cockpit with a table that becomes our shared dining and star-gazing spot in the evenings. Space is cosy, so pack your things in a soft duffel or backpack.

FAQ
What happens if we run into a storm?
What happens if we run into a storm?
A good skipper constantly monitors reliable weather apps and plans routes in calm seasons and safe cruising zones, so the chance of heavy weather is very low. While no voyage can guarantee zero storms, any deteriorating forecast means we’ll head for a protected bay or marina and wait it out safely until conditions improve.
I have zero sailing experience—can I still join?
I have zero sailing experience—can I still join?
Absolutely! Most of the women who sail with me have never set foot on a yacht before. I love teaching and will happily explain how everything works, step by step, so you can pick up new skills while enjoying the journey. And if you’d rather just relax and leave the sailing tasks to us, that’s perfectly fine too.
What if I accidentally fall overboard?
What if I accidentally fall overboard?
Going overboard is extremely rare and almost always due to momentary carelessness. We start every trip with a full safety briefing and clear deck rules to prevent it. Plus, we sail in coastal waters where other boats and the Coast Guard are always close by, so rapid assistance is available if needed.
I can’t swim and I’m scared of the water—what should I do?
I can’t swim and I’m scared of the water—what should I do?
Every guest gets a life jacket, and you’re welcome to wear it the entire trip. I also keep plenty of inflatable flotation aids on board. If you’d like, I can coach you through basic swimming skills and gentle water-confidence exercises, all at your own pace—no pressure, just support.
Who will be on the yacht with me?
Who will be on the yacht with me?
You’ll sail with a hand-picked crew of friendly, adventurous women, typically 25-35 years old and working in everything from business to the creative industries. They love travel, enjoy trying new things, and are open to lively conversation. I personally vet every guest so the vibe on board stays positive, supportive, and fun for everyone.
Reviews
Review 1 “My first sailing experience exceeded all expectations. I never imagined I’d feel such a range of emotions. Every day brought something new—both at sea and on land. Each night, I went to bed overflowing with impressions and excited for the next sunrise. That ‘camping with comforts in the middle of the sea’ vibe was incredible, and the knowledge that it was just us girls on one boat conquering the elements was simply priceless.”
Review 2 “Thank you so much for this holiday! I joined the flotilla ready to meet our cheerful crew—amazingly, almost the same group that formed after the autumn trip. Did we know each other beforehand? No. Will we gather this ‘crazy family’ again? Absolutely! It may sound suspicious that I’m so happy, but when eight new girlfriends appear overnight, with zero taboo topics and endless support, how could I feel anything else?”
Review 3 “This mermaid’s trip tops every journey I’ve ever taken. A week on a yacht with a fantastic crew gave me an incredible sense of freedom, self-sufficiency, tenderness, and care.”
Review 4 “I learned to drop anchor in wild bays, moor in marinas, hold course at the helm, and hoist the sails—our captains welcome every question and infect you with their love of the sea. It’s already my second ‘mermaids’ voyage, and all I can say is wow. Even with all that seamanship, we never forgot pure hedonism: our yacht glowed with fairy lights and a disco ball, fresh flowers on the table, every meal straight out of Pinterest. Many of us fulfilled a dream—seeing wild dolphins up close. We even slipped off course a little to watch them longer, and it was totally worth it.”
