Adventure overview
A week of lemon groves, pastel cliff towns, volcanic history and island swims. We sail from Salerno along the vertical Amalfi coastline, anchor off Positano’s candy-coloured houses, explore chic Sorrento, wander the ruins of Pompeii with a favourite local guide, and finish among Procida’s toy-town facades and Amalfi’s famous citrus terraces. Schengen visa required – the SeaGirls team helps with paperwork free of charge.
Key highlights

- Swim stop at Li Galli – Rudolf Nureyev’s private isle
- Pompeii ruins tour with certified guide Yulia (optional but highly recommended)
- Peaceful overnight in colourful Procida harbour
- Walk a family-run lemon farm near Amalfi (tasting included) (suggested – to arrange locally)
- Optional day sails to Capri or Ischia if weather reroutes (assumption – per host note)

What happens if we run into a storm?
What happens if we run into a storm?
A good skipper constantly monitors reliable weather apps and plans routes in calm seasons and safe cruising zones, so the chance of heavy weather is very low. While no voyage can guarantee zero storms, any deteriorating forecast means we’ll head for a protected bay or marina and wait it out safely until conditions improve.
I have zero sailing experience—can I still join?
I have zero sailing experience—can I still join?
Absolutely! Most of the women who sail with me have never set foot on a yacht before. I love teaching and will happily explain how everything works, step by step, so you can pick up new skills while enjoying the journey. And if you’d rather just relax and leave the sailing tasks to us, that’s perfectly fine too.
What if I accidentally fall overboard?
What if I accidentally fall overboard?
Going overboard is extremely rare and almost always due to momentary carelessness. We start every trip with a full safety briefing and clear deck rules to prevent it. Plus, we sail in coastal waters where other boats and the coast-guard are always close by, so rapid assistance is available if needed.
I can’t swim and I’m scared of the water—what should I do?
I can’t swim and I’m scared of the water—what should I do?
Every guest gets a life-jacket and you’re welcome to wear it the entire trip. I also keep plenty of inflatable floatation aids on board. If you’d like, I can coach you through basic swimming skills and gentle water-confidence exercises, all at your own pace—no pressure, just support.
