Hi, I’m Alexey Molchanov—a multiple world-champion freediver, breath-work specialist and co-founder of the Freediving Federation. Growing up under my mother Natalia Molchanova’s pioneering guidance, I broke over 30 world records, including a 180 m monofin ice dive (Guinness, 2020) and an 80 m under-ice descent in Lake Baikal (Guinness, 2021).
At our school, we fuse Natalia’s foundational techniques with the latest discoveries in physiology and safety. As Chair of the Federation’s Council and lead instructor in the Molchanovs system, I oversee a team of active champions—many holding national and international titles—so every session is informed by real-world competition and cutting-edge research.
