Itinerary

DAY 1 — Fly into Izmir · Ephesus · Overnight in Şirince

Arrival in Izmir and transfer to the Ephesus area for a deep dive into the famed ancient city, including the Terrace Houses with their mosaics and glimpses of elite life; overnight in the hill village of Şirince.

DAY 2 — Arrive in Tozlu · Hike · Tozlu Camp

Leaving Ephesus, stop for lunch and an olive-oil tasting, then take the first hike in the Latmos Mountains along an ancient paved path through olive groves and nut pines, finishing straight at a quiet camp for an al-fresco dinner and campfire.

DAY 3 — Hike · Tozlu Camp

Head deeper into Latmos past the fortresses of Çörlenasar and Bağarcık, with views and ruins that tell stories of past civilizations; enjoy a village lunch at the end, then return to camp for a live acoustic set at sunset.

DAY 4 — Hike · Bodrum

Spend one last mountain day walking a ~10 km route past 8,000-year-old petroglyphs, bright Byzantine frescoes, and the remains of two Hellenistic cities; finish via Kapıkırı (modern village built over ancient Herakleia) with a meal at Michelin Bib Gourmand pick Agora, then transfer to Bodrum for an evening waterfront stroll.

DAY 5 — Gulet · Coastal Ride

Swap boots for bikes and follow coastal roads through pine forest and traditional villages, ending with a smooth descent to Kisebükü beach, home to remnants of a Byzantine church; board the gulet to begin the sea leg—good food, company, and stargazing included. (Option to skip the ride and spend the day sailing/relaxing.)

DAY 6 — Gulet · Kisebükü Hike

Hike straight from the anchorage along a coastal path to the remote bay of Şeytan Deresi, enjoy a catered beach lunch, then spend the afternoon swimming, trying the boat’s water sports, or relaxing; there’s also an optional visit to the village of Mazi for a carpet-weaving demo and a bit of shopping.

DAY 7— Gulet · Back to Bodrum · Departure

Sail back to Bodrum for trip end; as with their group trips, extensions can be arranged.

DAY 8 — Gulet · Knidos Hike

Cross the Gulf of Gökova to the north side of the Datça Peninsula, disembark at Değirmenbükü Bay, and take a scenic hike past empty beaches and forgotten ruins down into ancient Knidos—“a city between two seas”—to explore what remains of the legendary port.
