Professional Ashtanga & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher

Hi, I’m Jonah Kest. Born into a yoga legacy, I toddled through my father’s vinyasa room at three, earned my teaching stripes at seventeen, and never stopped moving, breathing, or sharing since. Today I travel the world weaving grace and intensity into Ashtanga / Vinyasa classes, sprinkling each flow with impermanence, compassion, and a dash of humility. When I’m not on the mat you’ll find me in the kitchen dreaming up raw plant-powered meals—or on Instagram @kestyoga, swapping stories with a global community that reminds me why practice matters.

Safety statement

I treat safety as a living rhythm inside every class I guide. No two bodies share the same blueprint, so I invite you to move from sensation rather than chase a “perfect” shape—because injuries arise when we ignore the quiet signals our anatomy sends us and force textbook alignment that isn’t ours.

My job is to hold a space where you can fall, laugh, cry, and rise again without judgement. Students describe my rooms as places where it “feels really good to be vulnerable in a safe space,” and that atmosphere of trust is the ground on which all progress is built.
