Paradise Surf Trip

Maldives16 days Up to 10 travelers Russian

/ OVERVIEW

Adventure overview

Since 2011 Agape Surf has chased the Maldives’ warm, glassy reef waves: 29 °C water, stable shoulder‑high sets in spring and autumn, plus hollow tubes for thrill‑seekers in July. Each day orbits around “eat, sleep, surf”: breakfast at camp, two‑hour surf boat mission, chef‑cooked lunch, photo/video breakdown, siesta, second session, sunset dinner and another clip review. Unlimited meals, fruit on the boat and 24/7 drinks keep energy high, while snorkelling the house reef or lounging on the beach fills any downtime.

Key highlights

- Two surf trips per day with Russian guide and photographer

- Unlimited full‑board dining (fresh fish, fruit, veg; no alcohol on the island)

- Daily photo/video analysis covering technique, wave choice and surf psychology

- Snorkelling gear and reef excursions included

- Warm 29 °C water, wave consistency unmatched in the Indian Ocean

  • Deeper understanding of surfing—and real progress in your skills.

Reviews

“Thank you so much for the Maldives trip! After that #ParadiseSurfTrip I could sit with pros in Santa Cruz and feel right at home—your training really works. On the spot people asked, ‘There’s surfing in Russia?’ and when I said, ‘Sure—plus Maldives, Bali…,’ most couldn’t believe it. Your students arrive genuinely drilled in theory and practice. In Santa Cruz true pros are rare and nobody teaches! I was proud just to share ‘scary’ waves with five pros—and that was considered a bad day in the Maldives. Sergey, you’re awesome, and so are all the riders you coach. Nothing is wasted!” — Elena Poluboyarinov

“I’d call it an intensive, not a camp—so much surfing and surf talk! Maldives blew my mind: colours, reefs, 29 °C water, clean, varied waves, even the bonus of zero alcohol on the island, which keeps the focus on sport. Sergey Rashivaev deserves the warmest thanks for clear explanations and vivid comparisons that make you ‘switch on your head’ in the line‑up. Around day seven, during photo review, I realised every single person had progressed. Beyond the physical part you get loads of surf psychology that builds confidence. I’m no longer shy when someone paddles better—just move closer to the peak and wait for my wave. Training is fun and relaxed, people celebrate each other’s wins, and the vibe is super positive. Huge thanks to Tanya Elizarieva for the photos—no one knows how she shoots that well from a rocking boat! Fresh fish, veggies and endless papaya restore you after sessions. I guessed right choosing this camp—146 percent! Sergey, keep rocking; may the waves always cooperate!” — Nikolai Kovalenko

Maldives “How many trips have we done together now? I’m still amazed at how you gather such a cool camp every time—always super‑positive people! Atmosphere is everything: even if the waves are meh, we laugh in the line‑up, chat, and the day ends great. Organisation is ALWAYS top‑level, even when it seems impossible. Maldives waves are like a surf gym—especially with coaches like you and Tanya. I never want to leave and always want to return. Tanya & Sergey, you’re super‑super—I love you guys.” —  Nadya Dmitrieva

Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival

Land in Malé, speed‑boat 20 min to camp, settle into the AC room, inspect boards and share the first island dinner.

Day 2– Surf routine begins

Our daily routine:

Morning

After breakfast, a speed‑boat departs for the selected reef break. A typical outing lasts 2 ½–3 hours door to door, with roughly two hours in the line‑up—longer water time is avoided to keep physical demand healthy, given the two‑session‑per‑day schedule.

Mid‑day

Lunch is served upon return. Immediately afterwards, photo and video from the session are reviewed in an informal setting, covering technique as well as social, psychological and tactical aspects of surfing. The goal is to advance every participant to a new, self‑sufficient level of wave‑riding.

 Afternoon & Evening

A second surf mission follows a short rest. Dinner awaits on return, then images from the afternoon are analysed. Life settles into a straightforward rhythm—eat, sleep, surf—while those needing a breather can skip a session and spend the time snorkelling the nearby house reef.

Days 3‑N – Eat · Sleep · Surf · Repeat

The same rhythm continues; if you need a lighter day you can snorkel, fish or rest on the beach while the crew surfs.

Final day – Departure

Morning surf if flight times allow, speed‑boat transfer to MLE and onward flights home.

/ ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation

A dedicated surf‑camp hosts the group, offering air‑conditioned rooms for one or two guests, each with a hot‑water shower. The camp’s private restaurant caters exclusively to residents and provides unlimited full‑board dining. Although the island is alcohol‑free, an extensive menu—fresh fish, seasonal fruit, vegetables, plus Maldivian, European, Thai and vegetarian dishes—covers most tastes. Juices, tea, water and other soft drinks are available around the clock, and fruit with bottled water is loaded onto the surf boat for immediate post‑session recovery.
