/ OVERVIEW

Adventure overview

Ring in the New Year where two oceans meet: a twelve‑day surf road‑trip from cosmopolitan Cape Town to the warm Indian‑Ocean breaks of the Garden Route. Dawn patrols on empty line‑ups, sunset safaris, wine‑estate lunches and 300‑metre sand‑dune runs fill the days; evenings bring braais, live music and video‑analysis of your waves. All levels welcome — the coach matches spots to skills so beginners stand up safely while seasoned riders chase longer walls.

Key highlights

  • Surf both the Atlantic (Muizenberg) and Indian Ocean (Mossel Bay) breaks.
  • Day‑trip to Cape Point & the penguins of Boulders Beach.
  • Celebrate NYE Cape‑Town‑style: Table Mountain sunset, live music, optional helicopter flight.
  • Private‑reserve safari with giraffes, elephants, rhino & lions.
  • Cango Caves, Robberg coastal hike, Buffalo Bay mission and sand‑boarding 300 m dunes.

“This was my third #ParadiseSurfTrip and each time gets better. Camp host runs super‑comfortable lodging and amazing food. We surfed two sessions a day on both left‑ and right‑hand reefs and, thanks to Sergey’s knack for ‘empty line‑ups,’ were often the only surfers in the water. Evenings meant 2–3 thousand photos on the big screen and a friendly breakdown of everyone’s progress. Sergey explains technique so clearly that by the last trip he spotted a main error I’d never have noticed alone, and I finally started landing backside cutbacks! Fresh fish, veggies and endless papaya kept us powered up. Massive respect to Sergey and photographer Tanya for their dedication—you two do an awesome job!” — Maxim Karasov

“I went surfing and couldn’t be happier with the trip and the lessons. By chance I was the only student in camp and enjoyed one‑on‑one coaching all week. Totally hooked now—came home already planning my next surf destination. Thank you for organising journeys like this! Surfing is definitely addictive.” — Yuliya Filippova
