/ OVERVIEW
Adventure overview
Live in two Japanese megacities and ride out to where the skyline breaks into forests, lakes and volcanic silhouettes—culminating in that iconic view of Mount Fuji from the shores of Lake Ashi. Between Osaka and Tokyo, jump aboard the Shinkansen flying at up to 320 km/h (and famed for being late less than a minute per year), so you spend time riding, not wrangling logistics. Across ten days you’ll mix five fully supported camp rides with unhurried urban strolls, national-park wanders, and café stops; you’ll see Kyoto’s temples, the free-roaming deer of Nara, and Nikko’s waterfalls and shrines. The camp is capped at 13, distances and elevation are tuned daily to the group, and you’ll have a ride leader, a support car, a mechanic and a simple, modern apartment in each city to call home.

/ ITINERARY
Itinerary
Across 10 days / 9 nights, the camp lives 4 days in Osaka and 6 days in Tokyo, with rides and walks that blend megacity energy with forests, lakes and mountain scenery; we move between bases by the Shinkansen high-speed train so logistics stay effortless. Expect five camp rides led by a ride leader with a support car and on-route mechanic, plus relaxed city and national-park walks and one day with a professional photographer joining the group; routes are adjusted to the group’s condition, typically 90–140 km with 800–1,200 m of climbing on ride days and one bigger ascent up to ~2,000 m once during camp. Mornings start with a specialty-coffee ritual; accommodation in both cities is in spacious multi-bedroom apartments with full kitchens and lounges for briefings and hanging out.
