/ OVERVIEW

Adventure overview

Perched on an ocean‑front cliff, the camp blends wild Caribbean scenery with uncrowded breaks such as Playa Grande and hidden “secret spots” known only to locals. One two‑hour coached session is included every morning; boards and surf wear are provided, and you may keep the board afterward to practise on your own. Between sessions there are options to snorkel the house reef, explore karst lakes and waterfalls, or simply watch sunsets that sometimes feature migrating humpback whales (January–April). Instruction covers wave reading, line‑up etiquette, surf psychology and video error‑correction, guiding every guest—beginner or improver—to the next level of independent surfing.

Key highlights

  • Uncrowded Caribbean breaks such as Playa Grande plus hidden “secret spots” reached only with local guides.
  • Warm 26 °C water all year—surf in boardshorts, no wetsuit needed.
  • Daily two‑hour coached session (board and surf wear included) followed by video breakdown to fast‑track progress.
  • Clifftop surf house with pool and panoramic Atlantic sunsets—whale sightings possible January – April.
  • Flexible length of stay—arrive any day, extend as long as you wish, ideal for mixing work‑from‑home with surf.
  • Optional excursions to karst lakes, jungle waterfalls, snorkelling reefs and local markets for an authentic Dominican experience.

Reviews

“At first I thought, ‘Nobody’s pushing me into waves here—total fail!’ Soon I understood why. Many surfers rely on constant prompts because they’re unsure of themselves. After a few sessions I could judge which wave to take and when. Sergey taught me to think and analyse, not just stand up and ride. There’s still plenty of work ahead, but turning on my brain—even if only in surfing—is a big win. I’ll gladly come back! Thanks for the positivity and loads of useful tips.” Irina Vandysheva

“Sergey, good afternoon. I  want to say a huge thank‑you from our whole crew! Everyone loved it—the organisation, the theory sessions, and of course Vincenzo’s hospitality. We’re happy we met him and the people from your school.” Galina Babenko

Accommodation

Perched on a quiet cliff four kilometres outside the town of Río San Juan, the surf camp occupies a private ocean‑front residence surrounded by raw Caribbean nature and absolute calm. The property consists of a three‑storey house with five guest rooms plus a separate two‑bedroom villa with its own pool and broad terrace.

In the main house each room sleeps one, two or three people and includes a private shower and toilet, while a fully equipped shared kitchen lets guests cook whenever they wish. The pool villa offers a kitchen, two bedrooms and one bathroom—ideal for a small group wanting extra privacy. Throughout the camp you’ll find balance‑trainers, an S‑board, and yoga‑plus‑fitness gear for off‑water training.

Meals are self‑catered. Stock the kitchen with local produce or make the short drive into Río San Juan for cafés and restaurants whenever you prefer to eat out.
