Join us for a fully immersive 5-day sailing course on the beautiful Turkish coastline and earn your YY1 certification—the first step in Turkey’s Ministry of Education–approved National Sailing Program (TUYEP), developed in collaboration with World Sailing (ISAF).

By the end of this course, you'll not only learn how to crew a sailboat—you'll be a certified sailor, confident in all the basics of sailing and seamanship.

This certified program is internationally recognized when combined with your Amateur Seaman's Certificate (ADB)—enabling you to rent or skipper a sailboat in Turkey and abroad.

Six nights on training yachts with three double cabins plus single berths in the saloon. In summer you can even sleep in the cockpit or on deck under the stars.

What’s included in the price?

Instructor & training, 6 nights on the yacht, and course materials. Visas/bureaucratic fees are on participants.

When do we check in/out?

Check‑in Saturday 17:00. Training runs Sunday to Friday 14:00. You may leave Friday evening or stay aboard until Saturday 09:00.

How do I book?

Pick a date on the Annual Plan, choose your licence level, read the FAQ, then fill the reservation form or call. Pay the deposit to the stated account—pack your bag and go!

Can I get a licence?

Yes—after each course you can take an exam and earn internationally valid certificates/licences.

Do I need prior experience?

No. This is a Level‑1 course; you’ll learn to crew under a skipper. Just bring motivation and basic sea readiness.

What should I bring?

Personal clothes, non‑marking deck shoes, sun protection, soft duffel bag, any seasickness meds, and insurance docs. (Ask for a full kit list.)

How are meals organised?

You can cook on board or eat at local restaurants each evening. The instructor joins your dinner as a guest.

Will we sail every day?

Yes—wind permitting. Daily targets are 15–20 NM with lots of manoeuvre practice; exact route adapts to weather.

Is there a morning routine?

On weekdays, a voluntary 1‑hour light walk helps wake up muscles before swimming and breakfast.

What about visas or border formalities?

For international legs, each participant handles their own visa/exit fees. Domestic courses: no visa needed.
