Esma Erturk

Hi, I’m Esma Ertürk—the “passenger” behind Passengeresma. After finishing my engineering degree, I poured myself into the goals that really mattered to me. Mountaineering, snowboarding and diving—sports I discovered back in university—tied me to nature in a way I could never walk back from. As I grew up, that bond turned into conscious choice: I know what I want now, and it always points me back outdoors.

I record the moments that move me—so you can remember the feeling you miss and maybe rediscover yourself too. Through photos and video stories I share the path, the peaks, the quiet water and the wild snow. Got questions? Ask away—curiosity is welcome here.

Safety Statement

Safety comes before summits and photos. I plan routes to the group’s level, check weather windows, and confirm mandatory gear—reliable boots, layers, headlamp, water and snacks. On trail I set a steady pace, keep regular hydration/food stops, and adjust plans the moment conditions change; turning back is always an option. For photography, we shoot only from stable positions—no poses on loose edges, no distractions during movement. I carry first-aid and emergency communication, share the plan and cut-off times in the briefing, and keep the group close on technical sections. The goal is simple: come home safe, with good memories and a few good frames.
